ENTC — the Chair of Entrepreneurship and Technology Commercialization is part of the College of Management of Technology at EPFL and is directed by Prof. Dr. Marc Gruber.

ENTC is an internationally recognized center of excellence in research and teaching in Entrepreneurship and Technology Commercialization. We work in an international network of entrepreneurship institutions, and serve as a strong partner to the entrepreneurship community at EPFL and in the Lausanne region.

AOM editors-in-chiefs meet in Lausanne for rare European gathering

— The Editors-in-Chief of the prestigious journals of the Academy of Management, the largest professional organization in management research with 20'000 members worldwide, convened in Lausanne on November 3rd, 2023, for their annual retreat at EPFL.

Congratulations to Dr. Christina Hertel for her new faculty position!

— Dr. Christina Hertel will be leaving EPFL and Prof. Marc Gruber's Chair of Entrepreneurship and Technology Commercialization to start a new position as an assistant professor at the University of Geneva, starting in 2023.

EPFL Professor named Editor-in-Chief of Academy of Management Journal

— In early 2022, the prestigious Academy of Management Journal announced that EPFL Professor Marc Gruber would become its Editor-in-Chief, the 23rd in its over 60-year history. This is the first time a scholar with a European-based PhD has been appointed to this position, and only the second time that the editorship for the journal is based at a European institution.

Sustainable Entrepreneurship for Bachelor students

— Since September 2020, EPFL Bachelor students can follow a new set of SHS-MGT courses in Management & Finance. Dr. Christina Hertel taught "Sustainable Entrepreneurship" during the Spring Semester and tells us more about it.
